Auckland Rescue Helicopter Charity Ride 2014

The Auckland Branch of the Ulysses Motorcycle Club of New Zealand have been hosting this annual Auckland Rescue Helicopter fundraising bike ride since 1995. This year's ride had a good turnout as the convoy of riders made their way from Karaka to Akoranga.. I've done quite a few now...

My usual moan... not as good as the days of old with the motorway closed to cars while coming onto the motorway and then running down through the city and Queen St, now just a scramble through the cars to Akoranga...

I felt real  disappointed this year as well with no representation from Westpac Rescue and no sighting of the helicopter at all. will they pull this event and find a new charity?

Burn out

It's ok when you do it your self but when someone does it and marks your territory its annoying... specially when its lame...
two things;

one,  be a man and drop one on the road, more people see it, more risk at loss of traction ticket and that makes it more enjoyable when you get away with it...

two, at least prove your doing one for real and get something with a Ltd slip so you leave a real Pr of marks...
anyone can do a ft wheel drive burn pulling the hand brake! geeze.
