The Pantera

I’m not normally a Ford guy, but most of them mid 70’s can be cool... we happened to be at a building and saw this fantastic machine... My mate who was with me is mid 5 foot something; the car is just over a meter in height! And anyone over 6 foot will struggle to get in, that rules me out!
We just couldn’t get over the roof height standing next to it let alone crouching, we were still higher...
The Pantera was a sports car produced by the De Tomaso car company of Italy from 1971 but some like the GTS were manufactured (under 100) in the US until 74 when the US Federal safety and emission restrictions threatened to force it’s entire re-engineering. • Engine: 351 in3 Cleveland (5.7 L) V8 • Curb weight: 3,123 lb (1,417 kg) • Length: 158.0 in (4,013 mm) • Width: 67.0 in (1,702 mm) • Height: 43.4 in (1,102 mm) • Maximum Speed: 159 mph (256 km/h). Apparently, it goes like stink and sounds the part too...
Shoot, its been a while... will have to sort that!
Scored an anvil... Super cool, had been looking for ages, got a big o’l block o wood and a leather strap for my hammers & tongs... already been put to good use. Bit rough but better than the floor!
