Scroungers Hotrod blowout 2013

We rode out to the Scroungers Hotrod blowout. Lance on a borrowed bike lost the rear guard, cut the wiring and blew fusess on Purple XS but a bit of fun anyway... Weather just held out for most the day.

There was so much, this is only a sample.. it was bigger than i remember

Advertising

While getting around the place lately, I've noticed an increase in advertising with motorcycles, particularly modified styles, targeting a particular demographic?
its my kind of stuff.. but i bet they aren't targeting my age group, we've been there done that! ha-ha

Some Progress

Parts arrived so I've been busy and got the gear box back in, finished polishing bits'n pcs.

 also grabbed a progress pic from the painters of the tins..

Fitted up new pegs, the chain roller... rebuilt forks..

and while the main tins are at paint so i can ride the bike a friend Matt V painted up a spare set with Graffiti, don't see that too often!

got a quick ride in and all seems well....

Bit of Bling

I have a friend, she has to use a quad base walking stick and i hate it that its so industrial looking.. i have quite often said i’d get it off her one day and shove some wheels, a mirror, horn and fluffy dice on it.. we laughed...

So i finally grabbed it off her and gave it a make over

                                                            

She is totaly stoked and is getting so many cool comments, i’m glad to have helped..

Shaved Legs

Still waiting for parts, must be a slow boat shipment?!

So got to this week, ground off the front guard mounts with a lathe finish, then spent time polishing... Came out clean...

also a rebuild with new seals, oil etc in forks, much better.
